We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and driven team player to join our small animal team. Rangiora Vet Centre is a 18-vet practice situated a 20-minute drive north of Christchurch, in beautiful New Zealand.

This role would suit candidates with a particular interest in internal medicine and emergency critical care but you may still enjoy surgery and G.P. work. We have an experienced and passionate support staff team including a VTS anaesthesia tech and physiotherapy/rehabilitation team onsite.

Our near new spacious hospital includes 2 large theatres, a dental suite, 20 walk-in kennels, 6 consult rooms and a separate cattery. The established referral surgical caseload is supported by extensive surgical, anaesthesia and supportive care instrumentation and equipment. Access to CT and MRI is readily available offsite.

You would be joining a clinic that won the 2016 Most Innovative Business award for the North Canterbury district and is constantly looking to provide value-adding services to our clients.

Christchurch is New Zealand’s second-largest city, the largest city in the South Island of New Zealand, it provides a vibrant arts, dining and sporting mix.  Rangiora is just 10 minutes from the beach and within an hour’s drive of the Southern Alps providing a natural playground of skiing, fishing, boating, mountain biking, hunting, horse riding and hiking.  You get the best of city and outdoor lifestyle with plenty to occupy children alongside a world-class education system, in a practice that values work-life balance. We have a new swimming complex, gyms, sailing, tramping and many other sports clubs as well as great cafes, restaurants, shopping and local theatre. There are several wineries and craft beer brewers within a 50-km radius.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you and the rest of the family for work, education and play. Applying for this position could be the best decision you've made in a while!
