Phew! Now that the calf rearing season has come to an end, it’s time to recognise the hard work and long hours that have been put in by our calf rearing teams. Congratulations on getting through another season – we hope that it was kind and fulfilling for you all – though I know that we have unfortunately had a relatively high number of scours cases this season throughout many farms.
Although you may not feel like it, now is the perfect time to reflect on the calf rearing season – What worked well? What didn’t go so well? It is also a perfect time to set goals for next season – whilst all the information is fresh.
