We’re an independent, 24/7 mixed practice (established in the 1960s) with a modern, purpose-built facility, featuring:
Three custom-designed theatres including orthopaedic and dental suites
Advanced diagnostics: in-house lab, digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy & CT
NZVA Best Practice Hospital & ISFM Gold Standard Cat-Friendly Clinic
A skilled team, including a VTS anaesthesia technician
About the Position:
This is a 34-hour/week position, ideal for someone who loves variety and thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment. You’ll:
Work across surgery, medicine, consulting, lab, our branch clinics and our Emergency Vet Hospital
Be part of a team of 3 nurses with a rotating roster: 1 month of regular hours followed by 2 months of flexible hours including annual and sick leave cover
Gain hands-on experience in all areas of the clinic
What we are looking for:
A qualified Vet Nurse (Diploma or Bachelor)
A minimum of 2 years’ hands-on nursing experience with up to date well rounded clinical skills
A warm communicator who builds trust with ease
Someone capable of working both day and night shifts
A proactive team player who delivers outstanding patient care and supports our high clinical standards
