With a team of 35 vets and 65+ support staff, we collaborate across disciplines to deliver outstanding patient care in our purpose-built, Best Practice-accredited hospital.

Our modern facilities include: 

  • A spacious hospital with separate cat and dog wards 

  • Radiology room, two large theatres, a dental suite, and six consult rooms 

  • CT scanner, ultrasound 

  • Full IDEXX suite in house including the new IDEXX inVue Dx Cellular Analyser


The Opportunity 

We’re looking for a passionate and capable Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated After-Hours team. This role combines day and night shifts, allowing you to build your emergency skills while supporting ongoing patient care around the clock. 


About You 

You’ll bring: 

  • A recognised veterinary nursing qualification (degree, diploma, or certificate) 

  • Strong clinical experience — particularly in emergency or hospital settings 

  • Confidence with IV catheter placement, anaesthesia, fluid therapy, pain assessment, and critical care nursing 

  • A calm, clear-headed approach to triage and emergency situations (some sole-charge nights required) 

  • A proactive, adaptable, and compassionate attitude 

  • Deliver an exceptionally high standard of patient care 

You’ll be supported by a skilled team, advanced equipment (digital X-ray, ultrasound, full lab suite, BP monitors, and fluid pumps), and a comprehensive induction and training programme.
